Hello, I’m YuYan. KIKURA is my way of offering calm, clarity and quiet encouragement, drawing on the traditions I grew up with and the ones I have since come to love.
My story
Feng Shui was simply part of home
I grew up in Hong Kong, where Feng Shui was part of everyday life. It shaped where we placed a table, which day we chose for a new beginning, and how we thought about the energy of a home. Nobody called it spiritual. It was just how things were done, with care.
Later, I built a career in commerce. I enjoyed the structure and the discipline, and I learned a great deal about people and what they hope for. Yet something quieter kept calling me back, a sense that there was a deeper kind of work waiting for me.
That calling led me to spiritual wellness. I studied, practised and listened, and slowly the traditions of my childhood and the practices I met along the way began to speak to one another. KIKURA grew from that conversation.
East meets West
One practice, many traditions
KIKURA is an East-meets-West practice. I bring together the ancient systems I was raised near with the intuitive and mystical arts I have learned since, and I offer them with respect for where each one comes from.
The Eastern roots
Taoism, I Ching, Feng Shui and BaZi. These are the foundations of my understanding: patient, observant systems that look at harmony, timing and the way we sit within the world around us.
The Western and intuitive arts
Tarot, witchcraft, Hoodoo and Rootwork, Reiki, Angelic work, Akashic Records and pendulum work. These bring imagery, intuition and hands-on energy practice, offering another way to listen and to be supported.
